Responsibilities:

  • Generate 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models
  • Assist in the design and development of multiple mechanical components
  • Provides mechanical engineering support for new design development
  • Work directly with 2D/3D CAD models for conceptual and final designs of custom tooling
  • Preform product testing inspection and documentation
  • Research and information gathering for upcoming projects

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside engineers to provide administrative and operational assistance
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to streamline workflow throughout the design and manufacturing process
  • Generate final project and performance testing documentation
  • Work with assembly/manufacturing and engineering to ensure implementation of corrective actions and engineering design changes
  • Be involved with projects from design concept all the way through to completion of final product

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD Software is a plus, but not required
  • 2-year associates or 4-year bachelor’s degree is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing new tooling projects for a multitude of industries
  • Executing and managing mechanical designs
  • Work as a hands-on engineer on new developments such as prototyping, optimizing design and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Oversee the maintenance and updates of tool drawings, files and records
  • Identify and implement improvement efforts to increase productivity and quality

Requirements:

  • Experience with 2D/3D Modeling
  • Experience in Assembly preferred
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Work efficiently with manufacturing personnel
  • Strong time management

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer and Tool Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing complex tools and machinery for manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Review sample psarts to CAD models and drawing references
  • Programming using G-code
  • Set up machines, write and be able to test programs
  • Ensure machines are operating correctly and the part is cut perfectly to specification
  • Create programming/set up instructions as needed
  • Regular maintenance on machines

Requirements:

  • CNC background or certification preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
